2015 Boer Vineyard Grenache
2015 was another drought year, characterized by extremely low yields across the board. The lack of moisture in the soil led to grapes with intense concentration. We did a little experiment this vintage by deciding not to de-stem the grapes and fermenting with the whole clusters. The resulting wine has the usual Boer Vineyard flavor profile of berry fruits, licorice and cocoa, with a little more herbal spices in the mix.
