2016 Steiner Vineyard Chardonnay

2016_Steiner_Chard_front_whiteback

Beautifully situated in the far south of Bennett Valley, on the northern slopes of Sonoma Mountain, the Steiner Vineyard was planted in the early 1970′s. We were able to get some beautiful Wente clone Chardonnay in 2016. Wente is our favourite Chardonnay clone with tiny berried clusters and great acidity.

“Offering up pretty aromas of buttered apples, citrus oil and subtle white truffle that are subtly framed by new oak, the 2016 Chardonnay Steiner Vineyard is full-bodied, succulent and flavorful, with an ample, even lavish attack but with good underlying, balancing acidity. Concentrated and lingering, it’s a lovely example of Sonoma County Chardonnay.”
